Photo Shoot 2009

Part of my mother's day gift was a photo session that a friend of a friend was offering. The following are just a few of my favorite pictures from our 3o minute mini session.

Memorial Day 2009 Frankenmuth MI

We went to Frankenmuth for Memorial Day this year with our new fifth wheel camper and stayed at Camp Jellystone. It was the first time we have taken a trip with just the three of us and boy did we have a BLAST!!! Here are Kris and Owen in the pool at the campground! Owen really loves the water. Kris and Owen in downtown Frankenmuth making candy from a candy machine. This kept Owen busy in his stroller for at least an hour if not longer, so Kris and I were able to enjoy the sights of downtown without any fits.

Here is the only picture of all of us from the weekend. It turned out pretty well and is a nice reminder of our trip.

When we arrived at the campground there was a little boy in the next camper over who brought not one but two outdoor riding toys. We felt like terrible parents since we didn't have ANYTHING for Owen to play with outside. WE had to run to Meijer and get this little riding toy for Owen. He was soooo happy! Here is Kris and Owen playing in the street near our campsite.

All in all it was a super fun family filled weekend. We are looking forward to taking many more short trips this summer and fall so will post pictures from those outings as well!!!

A trip to Costco!

This is how Owen was riding on the cart at Costco. I'm not really sure where he learned this action from, however I had to snap a picture of it for all of you to see!

It was Kris' first day off from work today so we decided to take Owen out to a nice lunch and just have family time.

Little did we know that Owen was going to find many ways to play with his food. The manager actually came over and asked if he could make a snowflake.......

Yes- they are stiletto's......

Happy Mother's Day! We had Kris' family over tonight to celebrate Mother's Day and Owen went in the other room and put on EE's stiletto's and was carrying her purse. He was quite the sight to see!

Ring around the Rosie

Owen keeps himself quite busy during the day! He is outside playing on the deck and I am sitting at the dining room table (it's a little chilly for me outside today!) So I am singing inside, "Ring around the rosie, pocket full of posies, ashes, ashes, we all fall down" Owen is circling the post on the deck and falls down right on que each time. Then when I stop singing he says, "Momma, momma, pease, pease!!!"

He is so cute at this age!

Nap Time?

While playing outside today Owen decided to lay down and pretend that he was taking a nap- so I couldn't resist this photo op!
