Kris took Owen to a pumpkin patch today and they picked out pumpkins and had cider and donuts. I stayed home and enjoyed a much needed nap with Wyatt. Thanks to Kris for carving all of the pumpkins.......Owen picked out the pattern on the left and I picked out the Owl pattern. Kris did an AWESOME job carving them!
My pumpkin!
This is Wyatt's pumpkin.......Owen picked out this pattern for him.

Kris is going to carve his pumpkin tomorrow......his pattern is pretty spooky looking! We are all ready for Halloween this year and Owen is super excited to go trick or treating tomorrow night. We have really enjoyed this Halloween season this year, Owen has worn his costume at least 5 times so far. Definitely got our money out of his costume this year!

Halloween at the Village
We went to Greenfield Village last night for one of their Halloween weekends......McDonald's sponsored one of the many trick'or'treating stations...........therefore we got a great picture of Owen and Ronald McDonald. Wyatt was less then thrilled to be wearing his costume, especially his hat so this is the only picture we have of him that was decent.
Owen and Wyatt
Owen helped Kris the other day cut down some large branches. He then hooked them to the back of his truck and drove them to the fire pit to be burned. Here Owen is hauling the branches down to the fire pit.

Halloween Weekend Port Huron
We went to the Port Huron KOA this weekend for one of their Halloween weekends. It was a cold and rainy weekend but we made the best of it. We enjoyed our fifth wheel and are so glad that we have such a nice luxury to travel with. It sure is our way to travel! They had a site decorating contest so we decorated our camper with lights and spider webs and little spiders and ghosts, etc......... The picture is a bit dark but hopefully you get the idea.....it looked pretty snazzy! This was Kris' idea....we had a strobe light on the skeleton and it was very SPOOKY!!
Here are me and my boys. Owen dressed as a SWAT member and Wyatt was, well, I'm not really sure....I guess an alien of some sort! Owen received so many compliments by person after person about how cool he looked! It was great!
Daddy and his boys. How very happy we all were that the rain held off for the two hours for trick'or'treating and then picked right back up again. God was certainly watching out for all of the hungry kids and we are thankful that we were able to enjoy the walk around the large campground during those few hours to get some candy.
