Growing up!

The boys are officially getting older. They have been earning commission since January and have been saving their money really well.

Today I took them shopping and they each picked out a wallet to house their "spend" money. They are so geeked about their new purchase!


Owen didn't have enough money to buy his....he was short some odd change....so Wyatt loaned him some money in exchange for Owen making Wyatt's bed for two days. Good business strategy!!

Happy Easter 2016

He is risen, he is risen indeed!!

We had a really nice Easter weekend!

On Good Friday we celebrated Easter with my family. We hosted and kris smoked a brisket. It was an amazing meal as always. Lots of compliments kept rolling in!


Owen made these eggs with my mom. Easter is about Jesus! He knew how he was going to decorate his eggs a week before he did. He told me his secret and followed through.


I tried for a spring table spread and wanted lots of colors!


On Saturday kris took the boys to an egg hunt at our friends church. They got so many eggs!


Which meant a lot of candy.....look at wy's smile!


Sunday we went to church and then to visit my grandma.



Uncle Ron was in town for the weekend too. Always nice to see him!

Science fair

Owen had a science fair at school last week. It was an optional science fair but he wanted to partake. He chose to do his experiment on electricity and magnets. We were proud of his enthusiasm.


As a result he came in second place. Good job bud!

Ski trip Day #3

Saturday we all enjoyed another beautiful day on the slopes.


Owen wanted to try snowboarding so we rented a board for him. He was hooked!

Ski trip Day #2

Friday we woke up and my dad and Owen went skiing. I wasn't feeling great with a recent trip to the ER so just stayed back to rest up.


They had a great time skiing the day away. My dad took him to eat at the mountaintop restaurant and it was Owens favorite part of the trip!


It was such a beautiful weekend. Here are me and Owen when I picked them up.


The house my parents rented had a hot tub....huge bonus for all of us!


Friday night we ventured out again and enjoyed some night skiing. So fun!

Ski vacation- day 1
