We ventured out on a little road trip last week and had an amazing time!
After we arrived at the campground and got set up we took the boys tubing on The Platte River. We were told that our trip would be between an hour and a half and two hours, but we're surprised to find out that it was almost three hours. We were all ready for a break.
The river was very slow so Owen could stand as much as he wanted.
He really enjoyed this ride down the river.
My little buddy started off excited too but faded quickly. He was done. An hour would have been perfect, or if I would have packed snacks he would have been fine.
It was the most amazingly gorgeous day without one cloud in the sky.
Kris enjoyed himself too.
And a little of this happened.
After we went back to the camper and had dinner we went for a swim at the pool. The boys were like fish this past week. In the water every day, sometimes twice even.
And just because I can't sit still, we went to see the sunset at the sleeping bear dunes in Empire. It was so beautiful!
He boys were less than thrills to get in the truck again but after they saw how cool it was they were all smiles.
