We had a garage sale yesterday and the boys kept playing in this tree and climbing it. They are somewhere in the tree in this picture. Owen is towards the middle and Wyatt is lower. Such boys!!

Goose Lake
My family headed to Goose Lake a few weeks ago where we enjoyed a week on the water.
The house that we stayed at was very lovely.
He also was addicted to this piano for the week.
A few miles down the road was a place called cement city. All of these are made out of cement and are supposed to look like trees. It was very cool. USS Silversides tour
While in Muskegon my mom and I took the boys to tour a submarine, the USS Silversides, while my dad and kris went golfing. Owen has been into ships and shipwrecks and anything to do with ships for a while now so this was pretty exciting.
This particular sub housed I think 80 guys.
It was very tight with just us 4 in there, I can't imagine 80!
Bunks
I'm pretty sure we counted four total toilets on the sub.
They also had a coastguard cutter at the museum to tour as well.
Outside of the sub.
I was feeling a bit cramped on this sub, again can't imagine 80 full grown adults.
It was a very cool opportunity indeed. We've been wanting to tour the sub for a few years now and I'm glad we finally had the chance to do it!
Michigan Adventure
We also went to Michigan Adventure while in Muskegon and had an absolute blast. My brother and his family came up for the day and we had a ton of fun! Papa even went on the frog hopper with Wyatt (and laughed like a little girl) it was priceless.
our friends also joined us for the day and o and e had a great time riding some coasters together.
Muskegon 2015
We headed to Muskegon for our annual vacation and as usual had a blast. This year some good friends met us there and we enjoyed hanging out with them for a few days.
We hiked Mt. Baldie, naturally!
The top of Mt. Baldie......breathtaking!
We headed into Grand Haven and checked out the coast guard headquarters.
Then we walked to the pier and the boys are on the lighthouse in this picture.
Our friends really only wanted to do one thing, pick cherries, of course kris and I were game. We found this cute cherry orchard.
The boys were in love with this kitten, no thanks!
Owen picking the best cherries at the top.
Wyatt even wanted to climb the ladder.
Our friends kicked our butts at the cherry pit spitting contest. We have a lot of practicing to keep up with them. We did some more hiking through the sand dunes and came out at Lake Michigan. It really is so beautiful here....we love it!!
