Kitchen......it's DONE!!!!!

This summer has flown by.....probably because we threw a massive project in the mix. We knew from the minute we saw the house that the kitchen needed to be updated. And I've been sucked into the cult of everything will be better if it's gray or a shade of gray so I had originally envisioned a gray island with white wall/upper cabinets.....that was the plan until we realized how time consuming the whole project was turning out to be so we just stuck with the same color throughout. Even the walls are the same color, just a different sheen. Props to my hubby for doing an amazing job and only complaining a little :)

I'm thrilled with the results. The whole project cost around $700 give or take a few dollars. We will be saving for new countertops over the next year or so....and also deciding if we like the island layout....it's so BIG and a little awkward. Just wondering if a better layout would give the house a better flow. But for now I can't stop looking at it!
