So- I will admit that I am not the most creative person, but today I felt like I was! I made Owen a most excellent breakfast and dressed it up a bit! Pancakes, raisins and strawberries- what more could a kid ask for? The smiley face is for Owen and the neither happy nor sad face represents how I feel, very tired!! Owen loved them both the same!

Owen at the Chiropractor
Owen has been seeing Dr. Jen, our family Chiropractor for a couple of weeks now. He is finally getting the hang of things and is not crying when she tries to adjust him. Here are a few pics of Owen on Dr. Jen's table. He did so great today and was so cooperative! Dr. Jen in the background. Owen is so serious about his adjustment.

Bounce U!
Today Owen and I ventured out and had some fun at a local Bounce U. We have never been before so didn't know what to expect. This place was loads of fun for a child of any age, even I had fun!
Here is a picture of Owen on one of the many slides they had. Sorry for the poor quality photo- but he was on the move and I wanted to capture how steep the slides were.

I learned today that many kids around Owen's age don't like to share. Poor Owen was always getting the ball stolen from him by this little bully. Finally he got the ball and held on to it for dear life! He was so happy! Here is a picture of Owen playing baseball. It was really cool because that cone thing right below the bat was blowing out air that held the ball in the air. He was doing really well on his own, even if he only holds the bat with one hand.
This was the MONSTER slide- it was the biggest slide in the whole building. At first Owen cried and didn't want to go down it- I felt like a mean mom because I made him try it, only because I knew he would love it. After I went down it with him about three times, he was climbing up on his own and sliding down on his own. This was one BIG slide- as you can tell from the picture. Owen looks so little on this mammoth thing!
Here is Owen crawling up the stairs of the big slide. The picture really doesn't do it much justice as these steps were almost similiar to walking up a wall.
Owen spent a lot of time on the fire truck with his two pals. I think he was just taking a break from bouncing!

All in all we had a terrific day and lots of fun! After Bounce U we went to McDonald's with friends and played some more in the indoor play structure.
I wanted to give him a bath when we got home but he was so exhausted that I just took off his socks and changed his clothes- hopefully the germs were mainly on his socks and clothes. Bath time will be later!

The Easter bunny came early!
The Easter bunny came early this year and brought this nice basket for Owen filled with all of his favorite goodies from his favorite book, Owen's Marshmallow Chick by Kevin Henkes. It's filled with jellybeans and gumdrops and butter cream eggs and big chocolate bunny and a yellow marshmallow chick. You have to read the book to understand! Owen makes me read it at least once every night and he sleeps with the book! Also tomorrow morning Owen will wake up to an Easter egg hunt. Kris and I filled the eggs tonight and hid 24 of them around the house. We went to an Easter egg hunt last Sunday and he really enjoyed it so hopefully this will be a nice tradition for him. Happy Easter to you and your family!
