Here is a picture of Owen on one of the many slides they had. Sorry for the poor quality photo- but he was on the move and I wanted to capture how steep the slides were.
I learned today that many kids around Owen's age don't like to share. Poor Owen was always getting the ball stolen from him by this little bully. Finally he got the ball and held on to it for dear life! He was so happy! Here is a picture of Owen playing baseball. It was really cool because that cone thing right below the bat was blowing out air that held the ball in the air. He was doing really well on his own, even if he only holds the bat with one hand.
This was the MONSTER slide- it was the biggest slide in the whole building. At first Owen cried and didn't want to go down it- I felt like a mean mom because I made him try it, only because I knew he would love it. After I went down it with him about three times, he was climbing up on his own and sliding down on his own. This was one BIG slide- as you can tell from the picture. Owen looks so little on this mammoth thing!
Here is Owen crawling up the stairs of the big slide. The picture really doesn't do it much justice as these steps were almost similiar to walking up a wall.
Owen spent a lot of time on the fire truck with his two pals. I think he was just taking a break from bouncing!

All in all we had a terrific day and lots of fun! After Bounce U we went to McDonald's with friends and played some more in the indoor play structure.
I wanted to give him a bath when we got home but he was so exhausted that I just took off his socks and changed his clothes- hopefully the germs were mainly on his socks and clothes. Bath time will be later!
I can't believe how big Owen is getting, Jill! I'm glad he is not afraid to try new things...he looks like a kid who will enjoy life.
ReplyDeleteI have to also tell you that we must have the same taste in music. I like the different selections you have playing and since I rarely know the artists these days I have actually been able to figure them out from looking at your playlist.
