Car accident

I was in my first car accident today. I hit a guy. Totally my fault and I was SO mad at myself. Thankfully I've got an amazing husband who just cared about me and Wyatt being okay. My poor car though. This could not have come at a worse time. Ugh!

Craziness

The past month has been super crazy busy for me. We (ahem, I) packed up our house of eight years and put all of our stuff in storage. We then moved in with my parents for about a week and now are finally In our new home. I don't remember moving to be such a stressful event but it is and I'm about done with it. My body hurts and I'm constantly on the go only sitting down to eat. But it is fun too and I LOVE decorating and I'm so thankful for a change.

Here is the house.

Grammy snapped this precious pick of Wyatt running in to see the house for the first time after being away for a few nights.

It needs some TLC which I cant wait to do, hopefully soon if our weather ever gets about 10 degrees!

We committed to getting the boys rooms done first and we were spot on with our goal, even if it meant that I was frantically finishing making Owen's bed as he was running up to the front door (my mom picked him up from school and brought him home on Tuesday)

So here is Owen's room

It turned out great. Props to a friend who recommended the color the same day that I was planning to buy the paint and also to my mother in law for hemming the curtains and to my dad for painting the bedroom. Owen is thrilled with his new desk and has been enjoying doing his homework in his new bedroom. As soon as he saw it yesterday he gave me a huge hug and thanked me and told me that he loved it.

Next up Wyatt's room

Gifts from Grammy!

Wyatt loves his new room too and stayed in his beddie the whole night last night. He said he wasn't scared at all!! Again props to my mother in law for hemming the curtains and to my dad for giving wy his green accent wall. It is such a cool color and Wyatt loves it!!

My dad also painted our master bathroom

This space is a monster. We went from having a regular closet to two walk in closets. It is amazing and I love having my own space and my own sink!!

Our bedroom is almost done. Though I still need so e window treatments and some finishing touches. I feel like I'm at a hotel. I love all of the space.

Purchasing a foreclosed home was definitely a new experience to us but we are happy so far and have some big plans to fix this baby up. But first we need to save some money :)

Here are a few pics of Wyatt helping us move.

He was a big helper while we moved. Poor boy was dragged all over with us but he is a trooper and had a blast helping daddy (and holding my purse).

Grammy took him for a few nights after we closed on the new house so we could clean and get some leaks fixed.

And while Grammy had Wyatt my sister took Owen skiing to crystal mountain with my brother and his boys. Talk about being so totally spoiled rotten! He had a blast!!

And then in the weeks leading up to the big move they did a bunch of this with my sister.

And lastly I need to thank my mom who did SO much for me by helping with the boys. I couldn't have done this without her! We truly had a huge support system. Kris sister and bil were a HUGE help to us as well. We are so blessed!!
