Baby Wyatt 32 weeks 4 days ultrasound

I must say that I am always a little disappointed when we receiving pictures of Wyatt.....it just seems like they are so crummy and very hard to make out. This picture is a profile picture. We have opted not to have any 3D/4D ultrasounds since we really want to be surprised at how he looks when he is born.

The hemorrhage is still there and actually grew to 4.5cm since last visit. I meet with my OB tomorrow for a more detailed report and am expecting her to tell me to keep on my same restrictions and just take it as easy as possible.

Overall I feel pretty good and am so thankful that I only have 7 weeks to go.......after 6 months of dealing with uncertainty, I am finally feeling pretty good about things! God is good, all the time...All the time, God is good!

Owen enjoying a day at Grammy's house!

My little cutie hanging out at Mee's house for the day. Owen goes to Mee's every Thursday so that I can have a day to rest and relax and get all of my work done in a timely manner. I sooo look forward to Thursday's and so does Owen.

We finally have a room ready for Wyatt.....so when he is ready to make his appearance we will be ready to welcome him into our home. We certainly hope that our little fighter will enjoy his new room.

Owen getting ready

Shortly after Owen was born Kris' grandma bought him an "Owen" doll. It is super cute. Recently we have been using it with Owen to have him become more familiar with having a baby in the house. We show him how to hold the baby and tell him that he needs to be very gentle. Today Owen practiced some cuddle time with the doll who he has named "Baby Quiet" Owen was down in the basement today and when we called down to see what he was doing he yelled up to us and said that he was being a baby. Kris grabbed his phone because we knew whatever he was up to was most likely photo worthy......here's what he was doing

Happy St. Patrick's Day

A family trip

We finally decided to do a last minute family trip with just the three of us. We really wanted to do something special with Owen before Wyatt is born so we took him to Kalahari, the largest indoor water park around. We had so much fun with Owen.....mission accomplished.

We didn't quite know how it would work with a broken foot and my restrictions, so we enlisted Kris' parents to meet us at the water park on Wednesday to help out with Owen. We all had a great time and I even had a chance to go on the lazy river. It was great.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of our trip as I didn't take the camera to the water park, partly for fear of ruining it and also fear of it being stolen if I wasn't right there with it the whole time.

Tuesday we got to the resort right around 4pm and were in the water park around 4:45pm. We spent a couple of hours in the water park and Owen went down two big slides all by himself......it was sooo much fun watching him. After the water park on Tuesday we had dinner at a great restaurant where Kris had a steak and the best mashed potatoes he has ever had (they had meat in them) and I had a fabulous stir-fry......yummy!!! Owen had mini corn dogs and ate them all up. After dinner we went to the Candy Hut where we all had some delicious ice cream. Then we ventured to the arcade where Owen had tons of fun!!! He played for a few hours and then we headed back to the room and we all crashed for the night.

Wednesday we had another great day. Mee and Pee came to the resort right around 10am and we headed to the water park shortly after. We were in the pool area until around 4:30pm.....it was long but fun. Owen had a blast playing with his Mee and Pee for the day. We concluded our day with a pizza dinner and more fun at the arcade prior to Mee and Pee heading home. Once again Owen crashed immediately for the night.

All in all it was a memorable mini-vacation and we are looking forward to doing it again soon, prayerfully with Wyatt in tow!!!

Another trip to Triage!!!!

So I can honestly say that I am getting really sick and tired of going to Triage......don't get me wrong, I am thrilled that we have insurance that happily pays for our medical care, but I am sooo discouraged when I hae to go in.

I didn't hardly sleep again last night....had a throbbing foot and then started getting really consistant cramping at around 2am. The cramping has been very constant and I ended up being up most of the night since I couldn't get comfortable.

I called my OB today who directed me to triage to see if my cramping is pre-term labor, etc. I was hooked up to the machines again today and baby looked good with a good heart beat. Contractions were not regular at all which was good but the cramping never eased up.

End result- I am dehydrated and have blood in my urine. I won't know for a few days if I have an infection and if so Kidney or bladder, etc.

I am so thankful that Wyatt continues to look good. Hoping to rest up a lot this weekend and hoping to kick whatever infection i may have soon!
