10 years

Dear Kris,

My love letter to you...

Today around this time 10 years ago I was ready to walk down the aisle with some butterflies in my stomach. About to marry the love of my life, the one who completes me, my best friend. In so many ways it seems like we have been married for so much longer than 10 years....in a good way of course!

I love you for so many reasons. It sounds cliche but I just can't list all of them. And sometimes there are no words to explain how great of a husband you truly are. Below are just a few of what comes to mind as I write this post.

You are avery hard worker for our family and I am so proud of you and all that you do and for putting us first.

There isn't a day that goes by without you telling me, usually numerous times, how much you love me.

You will do anything that makes me happy....including taking pictures at events when you would rather not be anywhere near a camera.

Always kissing me first thing in the morning, when you get home from work and again before bed......

For being able to pretty much complete each others sentences and know what each look is for without having to say anything.

For always letting me sit on your lap and share your seat.

For the way you still look at me....even after 10 years, I know that this look is genuine and I'm thankful that I get to experience this awesome feeling!

For being such a caring husband.

For always putting me first.

For always being equally as excited about taking trips with me.

For always telling me that I'm beautiful and how you are the luckiest man alive.

For loving my family as your own.

For being smart and funny. A must have combo!

For having no fear and always protecting me.

For being you! Everything I could ever want!

So lucky.....so blessed. I love you and thank you for everything!

Thanks for stopping by!

Owen

Last week Owen had buddy day at school. He and a friend could dress alike. His friend E and him dressed like this....it was cute!

Also last week o had success night at school where he could show off all of his hard work throughout the year. We rushed from swimming and headed to the school where we met daddy.

It was nice that daddy was able to be there. Owen loved being able to show daddy all that he had done.

Happy birthday GG

Today we spent the day at my in laws and celebrated my brother in laws birthday as well as kris' grandmas. Kris' mom asked me to have the boys dressed nicer so she could get some cute pics with GG with all of her great grand children.

Ironically we all had on the same colors which made for some nice pictures. Owen loves baby kaelyn! She is precious!

I'm not sure we could have planned to color coordinate any more perfectly. This is the best one we got though.

Me and the sweet girl!

Me and my loves!

Owen looking dapper!

See his loose tooth? Top right.....it is so wiggly. It will be the first tooth he loses and he can hardly wait!

We were also surprised with a cake and some presents for kris and I....we will be married 10 years coming up unbelievably fast!

Me and him.

Him and me!

I can hardly believe it. But the saying continues to be true...time flies when you are having fun :)

Lucky wy

We are all so blessed with how active and involved my sister is in our boys' lives. She will pick them up or I can drop them off and they will be entertained for hours. My boys love their aunt Julie or as wy still says aunt "chewy".

Last week she had him for a bit and I got this picture. They were having quite the adventure. Wyatt was so happy! He wanted to go faster and faster!

What we have been up to

Last weekend kris and I enjoyed a weekend camping with good friends. It was our annual trip to frankenmuth's world expo of beer or also known as beer fest. The guys go to the beer fest and the girls shop til we drop. It is a favorite weekend for us. Here is a pic of me and the hubs!

We found this outside of one of the candy shops so my friend took a pic of me in it so I could send it for the boys to see. Apparently they thought it was a hoot!

And while we were busy having way to much fun, the boys spent their few days like this.

Hanging out with GG.

And doing some crafts.

Wy is so serious!

And coloring the sidewalk with chalk....pretty cool guys!

Maybe a little posing.....or was he hiding?! We will probably never be sure!

More crafts.....they painted chests...

And they had their names on them. Awesome!

And checking out Grampys newly pulled tooth.

I'm not sure who had more fun...kris and I or the boys!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy fourth birthday wy man

Wy turned four last week. His birthday was quite blah weather wise. Lots of heavy rain all day long. He has been sleeping with his bat cave that Grammy and Grampy gave him, last weekend.

And this was him on the morning of his birthday. Sleeping so peacefully!

I let Owen give him his gift before school.

It was the Lego set he had been wanting. After we dropped Owen off at school we came home and I helped him build it.

That night we took wy and o's friends out for a pizza dinner. So yummy!

And we followed it by some delicious ice cream topped with some gummy worms!!

Happy birthday buddy, we love you so much!

Thanks for stopping by!

Wyatt's 4th birthday

My baby is almost four. I can hardly believe it. Soon he will be in school and I won't have a buddy to hang out with anymore. Time sure does fly!! This past weekend we celebrated his birthday since we weren't sure if we were going out of town for his actual birthday. He wants to have an arcade birthday this year so we are going to surprise him to a trip to a local water park and arcade for the night. He will be so happy!!

He chose Batman for his birthday theme. I'm pretty sure he has already had at least one batman birthday but oh well it was fun decorating for his party and he was a big help.

We had a taco bar for dinner. Easy enough when 20 people were expected.

He couldn't wait to open his presents. He loved most everything, except for the clothes naturally!!

My sister brought over the blow up scooby doo inflatable. It's a tradition in our family for all four of the boys. It comes on camping trips too!

And here it is.....the batcave! He was adamant Grammy would be bringing this for him and Grammy did not disappoint.

His cake that he picked out.

Table scape. Thanks to my fab mil for shooting all of these pictures with her awesome camera.

His captain America shield from EE.

Love his face!

And EE and uncle Craig also got him a jar of dollar bills to take to the arcade. He's stoked about this.

Owen helping to build the batcave.

Me and kris with our baby boy.

Finished!

He slept with it that night in his bed.

Happy birthday sweet boy. Mommy and daddy love you so so much!!

Thanks for stopping by!
