We went to visit GG on her birthday this year and took her dinner. It was a nice dinner. So thankful for the opportunity to be able to do things like this with her. The boys adore here!!

Wyatt hates salad, vegetables and is a very picky eater. Last night when he told me he was done eating, he was assuming he was going to get away with having dessert. But we told him that if he wanted dessert then he had to eat a salad, so he made himself the tiniest salad he could. He did end up having dessert but next time we will know we need to set ground rules from the get go. He did get a A for effort though!

Owen the goof

We were in the middle of a storm today and Owen said that he wished he could run outside in the rain. I told him he could and he couldn't believe it. I told him that's what kids should be doing. He was so thrilled! He ran around for about 10 minutes, dancing, singing and being silly. Thanks rain for making this boy smile so much today!

Happy 12th anniversary

I celebrate year 12 with this guy! He's pretty awesome and a keeper for sure.

Owen was so cute, he surprised each of us with a gift. $1.50 each! We did give it back to him but thanked him for being so thoughtful with his money.

Grandma Jane

Sweet grandma Jane passed away on May 26. It was a sad day but also very special knowing she passed so peaceful and in no pain. She even made it for everyone to get here from out of state.

We sure will miss her. She never said a bad word about anyone and always put others before herself. Her smile and laugh were contagious!!

The boys have been so good on their savings goals. In January they each got to print out what they really wanted and they had to save all of their money. Finally just before Wyatt's birthday they each had enough to order their sets. What a special day this was! We are so proud of them!

Wyatt birthday part #2

Here is my boy the night before his birthday. Five is such a sweet age. Six sounds so much older for some reason! I kissed his face off for a while that night.

He wanted to go on a camping trip for his birthday. So that's what we did. He asked for putt putt, arcade fun and swimming, so that's what he got.

He had a great day!

Including a surprise breakfast to McDonald's....his favorite.

And to finish the evening perfectly he picked out a huge cupcake! Yum!

Happy Birthday Wyatt. The big 6!! Part #1

My boy is officially 6....growing up way to fast for my liking but he is still so adorable and a total mommas boy!

He had a pre-party over Mother's Day weekend. My aunt was in town and and invited him to have a pool party with his cousins. Wyatt had a blast!

There was a little mishap with the clowns. My aunt found out the hard way that her freezer in her room didn't work. She was so disappointed but the kids loved them anyway!
