First day skiing 2017

Last night I took the boys skiing.....it is the first time we've been out since last March. Crazy how short the ski season really is!  And this year so far our weather has been very mild. Lots of rain and fairly warmer temps considering we usually have a lot of snow and below freezing temps by now. 

I'm not going to lie, it was really hard taking the boys out all by myself. We failed miserably on the chairlift....we all fell over and got our skis stuck. The lady had to turn the chairlift all the way off. But on the bright side they boys ended with smiles and overall had a good first night out.  Next time I'll enlist my helpers!!

Owen got his braces off

Owen got his braces off today.  It was the completion of phase one.  He's so happy that he can finally feel his teeth and eat all kinds of sticky stuff and chew gum! It's been a long two years. 

He's also pretty smitten with the retainer he picked out. I on the other hand am not :)

Here's hoping phase two is just as simple....relatively speaking!
