Buddy the elf

Buddy came and surprised the boys again this year. He was pretty sneaky and didn't leave until both spotted him each day.

Towards the end of his visits he started misbehaving and was really close to getting a time out!

Wyatt has pneumonia too!

We've had a rough December. First owen with pneumonia and now Wyatt! I had the flu over a weekend and thankfully kris has skimmed by so far without anything!

Can't wait for my boys to be back to good health soon!

Owen update

He finally went back to school today. That pneumonia put him out of commission for a little over a week. He's still on breathing treatments every four hours so I surprised him at school today to give him one :)

He is such a champ at them now!

I also got a call from his doctor today checking up on him. She said they were very worried about him. I'm glad that after two antibiotics, increased dose of steroids, breathing treatments and other otc medication he has finally started to perk up a bit!! We have a follow up appointment for next week so hope he's still trending good then so he will be back to normal in time for Christmas!

Steak!

The boys first experienced filet while in Chicago last month. They loved it, so when they each came home with good report cards we decided to take them to a local steak place to celebrate.

They didn't like it as much as uncle Ronnies but I'm proud of them for trying it!

Our first big snow!

We hosted pierogi making day this year and encountered the craziest snowstorm to date. It was snowing all day long and never let up.

By around 6 this is what our deck looked like.

And when my family was trying to leave later that night.

Kris was out for a few hours, shoveling and snow blowing. He came in looking like this, he had no idea ice had formed in his goatee!

The next day the boys bundled up and headed out back....

They had a blast!

Thanks for stopping by!
