Getting ready for Christmas

Every year we always hire a professional to take pictures of our family for Christmas cards. Last weekend the photographer went to my parents house to take pictures of my mom and dad with all of the boys. I shot this picture of all of them. My mom just got the proofs back the other day and there were some really good choices! Gotta love goofy Owen and somber Wyatt!

Another day with Grammy

The boys spent the night with Grammy and Grampy on Wednesday and stayed all day on Thursday....what a nice relief for me!!

She just sent these pictures and I had to share! Cute boys!

Kris apparently texted me this picture one day last week while he was home with the boys. It didn't show up on my phone until just today. What a nice surprise! It made my day!

Update from our first Halloween weekend

This morning while we were cleaning up one of the campground employees came to our site with a gift certificate for a FREE nights stay. We WON the competition for the best site decorations...... I took this picture last night. Notice James as Wario (giving the scary skeleton a hug) and his little Luigi in the picture along with Wy man as Robin and Kris.

The decorations looked better when it was dark. We had a strobe light on the skeleton and a bunch of purple LED lights.

I just had to post about our win! This is the second time we have won for best decorated site! We have too much fun at this.....but we love it, and so do all of the kids!

Happy Halloween #1

We have at least five different Halloween events this year so this is the first of my posts. We wanted to do a Halloween weekend at a campground. Last year we went to Port Huron and had SO much fun. I tried several campgrounds and they were all booked. Thankfully I found this campground, the KOA in Holly. It was FREEZING cold and the wind was out of control, but we mustered up some energy to make the best of our weekend.

Here is O as Batman.....he was a very good Batman and he LOVES his costume! He kept saying that he was going to sit on the skeleton head and go "bah ha ha" in a scary voice and scare all of the other kids, so I thought it was appropriate to snap this picture of him.

Kris with his boys.....Wy was in the middle of a freak out because he HATED his Robin mask. We tried for a picture with it on but this is the best we could get so we decided to leave the mask off of our sweet boy.Me and my boys....love 'em!

We emptied out their bags after trick'or'treating. Here they are enjoying their candy.

Here are the two of them. They really do get along so super duper well! Sorry for the blurry picture. My hands are very shaky so this is the best I could do. We went to the activities center for a costume contest. The categories were funniest, scariest, cutest and most creative. Our group took two wins! Yay! Wy man won for cutest. And our friends James and Connie and their boys Landon and Carter won for funniest as Mario, Wario and Luigi. We had a great time! The campground staff wanted a group picture with all of the winners for their Facebook site.....funny how O just kind of slid right on in the picture with the rest of the winners. I didn't have the heart to tell him to get out of the picture. He is a winner to me!!

We can't wait for our next party next weekend at my sisters house. Then we go to Glennie for a Halloween weekend and on to the Village with Georgia, all before trick'or'treating at home on Halloween night. Good times!

Lucky boys.....

Kris' mom has been taking the boys on Thursday's. She loves having them and it gives me a much needed break. They made spaghetti for dinner with meatballs tonight. Here is Wy chomping on a bread stick. And even though Grampy can barely fit at the kids table, he still ate with them! What a good grampy!

Grammy always sets up a cool train track for Owen.....this is what it looked like today! I bet O loved it!

They also made finger jello for Halloween! Yummy! Hope they are bringing some home for momma!

As much as I miss my boys on Thursday's I must say that I am usually pretty productive and keep busy. One of these days I vow just to lay in bed all day long and read! Wonder if that wish will every come true.........

Why does it take Wyatt pooping in the bathtub to get me to really, and I mean REALLY clean the tub??

It definitely was not on my list of things to do today.......and I could have gone without pouring a gallon of bleach in the tub and scrubbing..............and should I even mention the fumes??!

I will spare you by not posting any pictures or tell you a detailed description of what happened . Use your imagination if you wish.

I threw out EVERYTHING, even the tub seat!!
